ABCs

We are currently working on Charlotte learning the ABCs (upper and lower case). She knows about 1/3 of them. We haven't put much effort into learning the letters so my goal is to master upper and lower case letters by sight and sound by the end of this summer. We are starting with practicing daily with flashcards.
Practicing the ABCs with a foam puzzle
Everyone know Charlotte LOVES singing. When she would pop out a letter I would sing this song to the tune of the old song "Who Let the Dog Out?". So it starts like this... "Who let the A out? .... Aaaa-aaa-aaa-aa-aa" This song is helpful because it reinforces the letter and the letter sound.
B Man played with his own activity, placing bottle caps in an empty Kleenex box.
It kept him very busy and he would look up at me after each bottle cap drop and want me to praise him. Too cute.
We finished our activity time with lacing cards from Charlotte's Easter basket from Grammy. Thanks Grammy!
