Water Playdate

So today was the start of a heat wave for us. We headed over to a friend's for a water playdate. All the moms were from Mercy Gilbert's Breastfeeding Moms Group when we had our firstborns. It was great to catch up and see how much all the kids have grown!

Water Painting, Playdoh & Bedtime Snuggles

Charlotte enjoys dressing herself and fixing her hair these days. Today she did a pretty good job. The crazy hair and mismatch socks give her a little signature fashion flare, right?!

Note to self: Get another Paint with Water book for her Easter Basket.

 While I cleaned this morning, she happily sat and played with her blue playdoh.

I LOVE bedtime snuggles.

 My sweet kids... oh how I love them.

Every night I look forward to our bedtime snuggles. I feel like I can recap the day in these moments. We pray together, read books, and sing Jesus Loves Me as a family and of course, snuggle.

Beautiful Weather

The high today was 71 degrees! It has been just GORGEOUS outside. We had a fun morning with our friends.

Dress Up

Dress up has been a popular and preferred activity around here lately.

I found "Cinderwella" dancing in her "slippers" and had to capture it on camera! I had the empty soda boxes sitting by the back door and I guess she didn't think the boxes should go to recycling just yet. She was also humming, "This is love, la-dada-daaaa", which is the song played when Cinderella and the Prince are dancing at the ball. Charlotte, my love, I would never let you go to a ball dressed like this!!! Lol

 Today, Cinderella made a debut. She takes her role seriously as you can see.

This shot made me giggle. I was reminded of those trashy celebrity gossip magazine when the paparazzi take pictures of celebrities doing normal day to day things, like grocery shopping or walking in a park. Seriously, common on people. They have to eat and live too.

Well, anyway, is it shocking that Cinderella reads too?!?! Haha.

We also played beauty shop. You probably didn't know Cinderwella loves to do hair.

And finally it wouldn't be complete without the Ugly Stepsister! Poor guy, Charlotte dressed her brother up in all her accessories. OH BOY... was he mad or what?!?!?! Ha.

The ONE year old

Our Good Buddy is growing up way too fast! He had his one year check up last week and the doctor said he is one healthy kid. He took his shots like a trooper, because we had our favorite medical assistant. Although, he did growl at her when she administered the anemia test. Lol.

His weight is 22.9 lbs./50%
His height is 30 1/2 inches/75%
He head measurement is 46 cm/50%

After the appointment, Charlotte picked out a sticker for brother. I tried to talk her into a sticker he might like, but she was certain he would love Cinderwella just as much as she does. Poor guy... he doesn't seem to mind though. Look at his t-shirt. Lol

He loves spaghetti and meatballs...

 He always wants mama's attention...

 and if he doesn't get it he often throws a tantrum...

 He loves his sippy of milk too...

And we LOVE him!

Ostrich Festival

We went to Chandler's Ostrich Festival with my Dad and Stepmom. We saw the ostrich races, looked at camels and ponies, rode some carnival rides, sipped cherry icees and ate Dole Whip, walked around and visited vendors. Most of all we had fun just being together.

Awe, he was such a newbie... it was definitely love at first sight.

Alright, back to reality, we had a blast taking Charlotte on rides for the first time. She had the time of her life!
