At the park

Lately, we have been enjoying the cooler winter weather at a local park on Sunday afternoons. This park is actually for dogs and their owners. We like go to watch the dogs play and to be outside. It has huge a giant pond and beach for those who like the water. Endless amounts of tennis balls bob up and down in the water waiting to be fetched. Smaller dogs can be separated in large fenced in areas. I read, a while back, the park was rated one of the Top 10 dog parks best in the nation. Kyle and I both agree, if someone was in the market for finding the best dog for their type of lifestyle, you should shop at a dog park to see all the different types of personalities. Although, this pictures don't reveal the park's true purpose, the grass being completely dead and the water a bit murky and muddy, we enjoy being together as a family on a simple Sunday.

Zoolights

Zoolights is Christmas light event at the Phoenix Zoo. The zoo displayed over 2 million lights this year. The lights are created to look like animals, bugs, and other creatures. Charlotte and I were 1st timers... never been and didn't know what to expect. It was so much fun... but brrrr! It was cold... :) Besides dressing for the cold weather... my favorite part was the Dancing Trees. The trees stand tall with lights hung from the base to the branches. The lights "dance" to instrumental Christmas music. It is spectacular display.

Cherry Lane

We love going to Cherry Lane every year... this is our 6th time coming as a couple. A street full of neighbors gather each year to make Christmas displays for all to see. Some have themes and some don't, however each house is lit up in a different way. I just love this Christmas tradition. :)

2 months old

Charlotte weights 10 lbs. 6 oz. and 23 1/2 inches long. She is gaining more head control everyday and smiling. Our baby girl often coos and is starting to babble.

Baby Massage

Charlotte, Ellen, and I went to a baby massage class at the local library. One the 1st times out with my new little girl. Ellen was nice enough to capture some great shots. Thanks, Ellen! This will be a memory to cherish... I loved every minute of it. So did Charlotte!
