Child/Baby Dedication

Our little family praying
Brady was a such an fussy man. He threw his pacifier at the pastor and wanted to get down and wander everywhere.

These were the special vows are pastor voiced to the church. We said "I DO" after each statement. These vows were prayed for our children in the days leading up to the dedication and of course we will be praying thereafter.

Child Dedication “Vows”

Do you dedicate yourself to wholeheartedly pursue your relationship with God by trusting in the finished, saving work of Jesus Christ and depending on the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your life, knowing that the life you model will shape your children even more deeply than the words you say?

Do you dedicate yourself to faithfully pursue a vibrant relationship with your spouse: sacrificially loving each other, dating each other, prioritizing each other over your work and children, and seeking help and guidance from your church family to help your relationship thrive, knowing that one of the best gifts you can give your children is a joyful, godly marriage?

Do you dedicate yourself to actively participate in the church community: investing in people, learning from friends, and using your gifts for the sake of Jesus’ Kingdom, knowing that your children need input and examples from the church family in addition to your family?

Do you dedicate yourself to raise your children with biblical love, instruction and discipline? Will you take every opportunity that life gives you to diligently teach your children to love the Lord Jesus and observe all that he commanded, knowing that your primary responsibility as a parent is to train your child to be Jesus’ disciple?

Cinderella

On Saturday we went to see Cinderella at Hale Theatre with Grammy. Charlotte was very shy and curious when we first arrived to the theater and then warmed up to the event by the end! Thanks Grammy for taking us out on a date! :)

Not posing for mom because they were so many other little girls excited to see Cinderella!
Saying Cheese

Enjoying a ring pop at intermission with Grammy.
Her lollipop made her so happy!
Silly Grammy!
Charlotte and Cinderella. She was SO nervous to meet Cinderella and whispered "Cinderella, you are so pretty" under her breath.

Ostrich Festival

We went to Chandler's Ostrich Festival with my Dad and Stepmom. We saw the ostrich races, looked at camels and ponies, rode some carnival rides, sipped cherry icees and ate Dole Whip, walked around and visited vendors. Most of all we had fun just being together.

These were my favorites...
Eating Dole Whip for the first time!
He loved it! I don't think he expected it to be that cold!
1st time eating a red icee
This was the swing ride Charlotte and Kyle rode.
I really liked this picture because of the colors and shapes. I really, really like how the moon is peaking just above the pink circle.
Enjoying a "Lolly" and watching the ferris wheel.
This was Brady "chill-laxing" in his stroller while we walked all around. What a dude. He LOVES resting his feet on things...
I flash backed to this picture taken in the hospital when B Man was born. See, what I mean?!?! I probably have a handful of memories of him resting his feet on something!!! It all started here... Lol
Awe, he was such a newbie... it was definitely love at first sight.
Alright, back to reality, we had a blast taking Charlotte on rides for the first time. She had the time of her life!
