4th of July Tot Trays

Goodbye, Bishies (fish), Hello Stars (4th of July). Charlotte loved the ocean unit, I am glad I planned some many activities. This week we are doing a short 4 of July unit. I introduced 4 new trays today. I have many fun art and crafts ideas to do this week. It is SO SO SO hot so we are just going to make the best of it and beat this heat with lots of blanket forts, playdough fun, dress up, and indoor games, like hide and go seek and memory.
Counting with plastic stars (the counting sheet is from 1+1+1=1 blogspot and the stars are from a cut up plastic patriotic necklace from Target $pot)
Counting with the stars
B Man filling up a container of pom poms.
Placing "fireworks" in styrofoam.
SO fun!
Matching patriotic foam stickers
One of her favorites concepts is matching same to same.
Transferring red and blue pom poms into an egg carton.
As soon as she saw the tongs she said, "Mommy, I make a salad okay?" I had know idea she understood that concept... such an observant little girl! :)
